TMF(Tubular Maintenance Free) Series Battery
Overview of TMF Series Battery
The Tubular Maintenance Free (TMF) Series Battery is a tubular type of battery that requires little maintenance, particularly for industrial applications that provide long life and high reliability. The TMF battery employs tubular plate technology for efficient charging and discharging performance and stable power supply, which is used in various fields such as communication equipment, solar systems and UPS systems.
TMF(Tubular Maintenance Free)
  • Heat sealing cover
    • 1) Prevent leakage and contamination
    • 2) Have hydrometer built in for faster checking
  • Liquid gas separator of middle cover
    • 1) Prevents electrolyte loss by collecting and returning liquid to the reservoir
    • 2) Vents allow the battery to “breathe” during temperature change and charging
  • Durable Cast & weld strap
    • 1) Thicker strap than normal battery
    • 2) Maximized output of power through minimized electricity resistance
  • Lead-Calcium-Siver plate
    • 1) Less self-discharge
    • 2) Resistant to grid corrosion
    • 3) Over-charge resistant
  • Low-Resistance envelope separator
    • 1) Improve vibration durability
    • 2) Prevent internal short circuit
  • Polypropylene case
    • 1) Used strong materials for resistance to vibration
    • 2) Light weight and easy to handle
  • Flame arrestor
    • 1) Prevents outside sparks from causing explosions
    • 2) Minimizes acid leakage
    • 3) Prevent the inflow of dust
  • Hydrometer (SOC indicator)
At full charge, the specific gravity is 1.280, while at 50% of charge, considered the minimum serviceable condition, the specific gravity is typically 1.220. Under normal conditions, when the specific gravity drop to 1,100, the battery is considered fully discharged.
  • Key Characteristics
    • No needed to distilled water
TMF battery use special Lead-Alloy for minimal fluid loss meaning that there is no need to replenish distilled water through the life of the battery.
    • Low rates of self-discharge
Calcium-Silver alloy grids provide prompt turnover even after long periods of standing.
    • Mounted hydrometer(SOC indicator)
A mounted hydrometer allows you to check the status of the battery.
    • Strong charge acceptance
The use of Calcium-Silver alloy grids and Tubular thin Plate (Ø6.6mm) means that TMF batteries have 20% improved charging ability compared to other batteries, even during intense heat or cold.
